While miso’s natural deliciousness and unique health properties have led to its modern-day popularity, it was originally Buddhist Monks that spread the word on miso throughout Japan. Because this miso is unpasteurised, it’s packed with an abundance of active digestive assisting enzymes. It makes a rich, full-bodied|and satisfying soup, and adds concentrated flavour and goodness to stir-fries, marinades, sauces, dips and dressings.
Ingredients: Water, barley* (26%), whole soybeans*(25%), sea salt, Koji (Aspergills oryzae).
